October has been another busy month in the Hive! 🐝
We have been learning lots of new things! Over the past few weeks we have been learning new skills like being able to wait, sitting in a group and learning to play games with one another! Taking turns has been a big focus for us and everyone is doing a super job with this!
Throughout October we have tried new and unfamiliar things! We have visited the hall for PE sessions and joined whole school assemblies! We practiced our biggest smiles for our first school photographs!📸
We have enjoyed different stories this month including some of our Julia Donaldson favourites such as the Gruffalo and Room on the Broom! We had great fun retelling the stories using puppets and exploring our Gruffalo tuff tray! 🎃 🧹
During group time, we read the story of Ruby's Worry! We loved this story as it reminds us of what to do if we ever have a worry of our own! We used the Worry Hand to talk about any worries we had!
We also welcomed new friends to our class for a visit who joined us for hot chocolate days and our very own Bright Light's Disco! 🪩
