The Hive have had so much fun during November with their topic: "Journeys & Transport"!
The classroom was transformed into a giant map with a trail of different forms of transport following along! The children not only learned about all the different types of transport that there are, but also about transport in the past, famous journeys (Titanic & moon landing), the science of hot air balloons, the journey of letters, and so much more!
Within our topic, pupils have been able to:
- Create their own treasure maps
- Use AI to design their own vehicles
- Take part in science experiments
- Use a 3D printer to create their own physical vehicles
- Role play and explore using car mats and water trays
- Make several arts & crafts projects
- Paint using toy cars as brushes
- Go on a treasure hunt around the school
- Deliver letters around the school
- Solve practical problems using train tracks
- Use coding to drive virtual cars
- Drive and code Sphero robots
- And so much more!
We have had so much fun learning and growing in this topic, and now we cannot wait for our next one!
