It's the end of another busy week in P1 and we have all been working hard🙂 This week we were investigating weight in Numeracy and enjoyed weighing and comparing different objects using the balancing scales⚖ We had fun taking our Literacy outside when the sun came out and we 'painted' some words on the ground with water and watched as they disappeared in the sun🌞 In our topic work we have been learning about the life cycle of the butterfly and so we painted beautiful butterflies during play and folded the wings to create symmetrical patterns😍🦋 We have also been learning about the life cycle of the frog and yesterday had a special treat visiting the P7 room and seeing first hand the tadpoles they are looking after- Mrs Murray told us all about them and encouraged us to look closely in the tank to see how the tadpoles are changing- we were able to see how some have already turned into frogs! 🐸How exciting!
