With today being such a lovely day P2 and P3 decided to make the most of it and went to the glen for our snack and outdoor learning today! We donned our coats, wellies and hi-vis jackets before setting off with our snacks safely tucked in our pockets. We enjoyed our snack together once we arrived at the glen and made sure to put all our rubbish in the bin. Next, we headed off to our usual clearing among the trees and had an absolute blast! We played the floor is lava and carefully climbed along the logs to avoid the ground, made campfires out of sticks, created hotels and dens with sticks and leaves, we also used some old tree stumps as drums with sticks to play them. At one point a fallen tree became an aeroplane heading to Disneyland Paris! We loved running up the hill and rolling down it trying to make sure we didn't knock into each other or get in anyone's way! The mud on our hands and clothes and the smiles on our faces show just how much fun we had today! Our teachers were very proud of how well we all worked and played together! ❤️
