Primary 5 - Making learning fun 🌟
The Primary 5 children love learning, especially when we have fun. They particularly enjoy practical tasks and working together.
This week the children got together in groups to measure parts of our school. They were tasked with using the correct equipment to measure the length of various objects and spaces in centimetres and metres. They did a fantastic job, and even Mr Fisher was impressed by their accurate measuring of the corridor!
The children also got together to start our JDO Global Digital Collaboration project. Each child logged into our Google Classroom, and we had the opportunity to say hello to the children of our partner school in Pennsylvania! We will be getting together online with our partner school next week, and we are very excited!
We finished off our week by making Pharaoh headdresses. The children have learned about Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs this week as part of our topic. They spent a lot of time on the headdresses, and they looked fabulous!
