Today the children in school listened to the meaning of Remembrance Day and showed their respect by observing a two minute silence in class. Afterwards they used their fine motor skills to paint little circles on a poppy using a pipe cleaner or by using their finger. The concentration shown by the children was extremely impressive as were the final poppy paintings.
