See the Light in P6
Today Primary 6 visited the Crumlin Residents Collective (CRC) to learn about all the wonderful things the organisation does for the people in our community and beyond. Our host for the morning was Maria and she and the volunteers who work at CRC are definitely shining lights in our community! 🌟 During our visit, the children helped prepare Christmas hampers for a family of four and an elderly lady. They enjoyed selecting items to help make their hampers extra special! After a busy morning preparing hampers, we were greeted by the Grinch, Mrs Claus and some elves at Chris’ Cafe and Florist. Chris, Maria and the staff at Chris’ Cafe and Florist treated us to delicious hot chocolates with marshmallows and tasty snacks 🍩 🍪 But that wasn’t all! The children were there for the light switch on in celebration of our Festival of Light at the cafe. We ended our visit at the cafe by singing a Christmas Carol to spread the Christmas cheer in our community.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Maria and all the volunteers at CRC for having us to visit today and an extra special thank you to Chris, Maria and all the staff at Chris’ Cafe and Florist.
